Sheeting & CladdingRapid expansion plans were required to meet the increasing demand for this successful architectural precast concrete manufacturer which meant that they required a very large bright internal space for the manufacture of their high quality precast concrete architectural fabrications and facades.
We were brought on board at an early stage by the Managing Director of this successful company to work in close partnership with them to ensure their requirements for design were fully understood and our expertise and experience was invaluable to the success of this fast-track project.
A steep disused railway embankment to a complete side of the proposed 120 metre long structure made access for conventionally fitting the cladding externally an impossible task without the cost prohibitive excavation and forming a retaining wall. Our design team worked tirelessly on this challenge and successfully developed a bespoke and unique system enabling us to install the cladding to the external side of the cladding rails but from working inside the structure, saving our client valuable time and thousands of pounds on potential excavation and building works.
This complete fast-track project to install the roof and cladding ready for our client to manufacture their products to fulfil their orders was completed ahead of programme and on budget with the Managing Director personally thanking us for a ‘great looking building, helpfulness and studious approach throughout.’
