They made the wise decision to ensure that their roof would be solar ready and maintenance free for over 25 years to avoid any costly future roof repairs that could potentially require the removal of their solar panels to access the roof sheeting.
We recommended our profiled steel sheet oversheeting system which incorporated additional quilt insulation to upgrade the roof to comply with current Part L2B Building Regulations for thermal performance. This system was installed efficiently and with our usual constant flow of communication to our customer during the complete process to ensure the roof and solar panels were installed in synergy.
Our client is now benefiting from huge energy cost savings from the Solar generation of their own electricity supply and reduced heating costs from their new thermally efficient roof.
