Solar panel installation of 60kW system with SolarEdge power optimizers in Devon

During initial consultation with our client, we demonstrated the benefits and huge cost savings of combining installation of our insulated roof oversheeting system with a PV installation to their three existing buildings.

We were successfully appointed for this turnkey project and installed our insulated oversheeting system to provide a thermally efficient roof and installed a 60kW solar PV system with SolarEdge power optimizers with MCS certification, providing our client with significant energy cost savings and revenue stream. The complete project was contract managed by our company fulfilling duties as Principal Designer and Principal Contractor in accordance with CDM Regulations 2015.

Other benefits to our client included: A single point of contact and CDM compliance for the complete roof and solar project. Scaffolding, lifting and hoisting plant was utilised efficiently for both roof and solar PV installations saving thousands of pounds. The roof guarantee is preserved which may not have been possible should other contractors have installed the Solar PV.
